The city council recommended a design contract for an all-wheel skatepark, which will allow use for skateboarders, scooter riders, cyclists, and wheelchair users.
The proposed development will have a 10,000- to 12,000-sf pump track, 6,000- to 8,000-sf flow bowl, and 12,000- to 14,000-sf skate plaza.
The total cost of this option is estimated at $3.4 million, with $3.1 million allocated for construction and $325,500 for design fees.
