400-acre residential community planned for Bonham 

BONHAM – The Bonham Economic Development Corporation is planning Powder Creek Ranch, a 400-acre development with a large housing component. 

The project at SH 121 and SH 56 will be developed across seven phases through 2035. 

Plans include 3,000 homes, including a mix of single-family residences, townhomes, build-to-rent units, and multifamily options. 

Phase one will have 205 multifamily units and a mix of single-family and build-to-rent homes. 

Future phases will include retail, restaurant, office space, public parks, trail systems, and open spaces.
