NEW CANEY – New Caney Municipal Utility District is moving forward with a new administration building and elevated water storage tank.

The nearly $11 million project will be funded through two bonds.

The new administration facility will replace the district’s current office on Roberts Rd., which it has occupied for 36 years.

The elevated water storage tank will have a 1.5-million-gallon capacity.

Construction is expected to take approximately one year and wrap up in early 2027.
