FORT WORTH – Three years after buying Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth, GK Development Inc. has acquired the Neiman Marcus store for $2.1 million with plans to spend millions more on upgrades to the shopping center.

The deal for the 120,000-sf building closed last week and makes way for GK Development’s redevelopment plans for the mixed-use property at the northeast corner of I-30 and Green Oaks Rd.
The phased multimillion-dollar redo will help attract new retailers to the mall that will fill the space upon Neiman Marcus’ departure.
The initial improvements will include interior upgrades and a $3 million remodel of the Cinemark Theaters.
