Avis has been the broker for Keller Williams Realty in Round Rock and Georgetown since April 2001. She served as the governor’s appointee as chairman for the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) from 2011 to 2019. Prior to that she served as vice chairman for two years and as a commissioner for one. She also on TREC’s Broker Lawyer Committee from 2001 to 2005 and was chairman of the board for the Texas Association of Realtors in 2007.
