Celina ISD to build 11 campuses, upgrade facilities with $2.3B bond
CELINA – Celina Independent School District will construct a new high school, two middle schools, seven elementary schools, and one early childhood education facility, funded by a $2.3 billion bond approved May 3.
Renovations at Celina High School will include updated classrooms, flooring, updated hallways, food service areas, and co-curricular spaces.
The projects also include construction of a centralized operations center for maintenance and support services and a safety command center within a district facility to oversee campus security.
The bond also includes funds for new vehicles and buses, along with a band trailer and storage for technology resources.
Additional technology infrastructure upgrades will include new fiber optic lines, audiovisual systems, a new telephone system, a unified communications network, and updates to the district data center.
