Texas Instruments to lay off more than 150 employees

DALLAS – Texas Instruments plans to lay off more than 150 employees at its Dallas and Sherman fabrication plants.

Last week, 163 employees who work on the 150mm wafer production line at the company’s “DFAB” site located on North Central Expy. were informed their last day of paid employment will be Dec. 12. An additional 20 employees at the same location will be laid off at the end of April.

Employees in Sherman were also given layoff notices.
