201-unit low-income housing project slated for San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – The Vecino Group is developing the Commons at Acequia Trails, a 201-unit supportive housing project.

The development will have 132 efficiency units and 69 one-bedroom units.

Amenities will be a community room with a kitchen and pantry, a business center, and a fitness room.

The development will provide housing for individuals at risk of or transitioning out of homelessness, with units available for those earning 30 percent to 60 percent of the area median income.

Additionally, 80 units will be supported by a 15-year Section 8 HAP contract.
