H-E-B developing third San Marcos store

SAN MARCOS – H-E-B is planning to open its third location in the city at I-35 and McCarty Ln. 

The 118,945-sf store will include a True Texas BBQ restaurant, pharmacy, curbside pick-up, full-service bakery, Blooms floral area, fuel station and car wash, and Texas Front Porch. 

Construction on the 17.67-acre site begins this September and is estimated to finish by October 2026. It’s expected to cost about $30 million.
