DALLAS – Dallas’ second oldest shopping center—the landmark Casa Linda shopping center—is set to get a major multimillion-dollar upgrade, which would bring a new "signature, full-service restaurant concept," to the entrance to the East Dallas destination.
The ownership behind the retail center has begun the design process to give Casa Linda at the corner of N. Buckner Blvd. and Garland Rd. a facelift.
"We don’t have the full budget out yet, but Casa Linda is about 350,000 sf,” Tom Kiler, managing director at Edens, told the Dallas Business Journal.
The upgrade plans to the 1945-built property would include exterior upgrades to lighten and brighten the property with seating areas for neighbors and members of the community to bump into each other and interact.
