No bones about $25.5M medical facility in Temple
TEMPLE – Construction is underway on the 75,000-sf, three-story Glen E. and Rita K. Roney Bone and Joint Institute on the main campus of Scott & White Healthcare. The project broke ground in May 2012 and is expected to be complete in September 2013.
The $25.5 million facility will provide the capacity to care for a growing number of patients, many with increasing complexities needing specialized care.
It will offer a bench of fellowship-trained musculoskeletal specialists in one location, providing care in the areas of: hand, foot and ankle, joint replacement, musculoskeletal oncology, pediatric orthopedics, spine, orthopedic trauma and sports medicine.
