HOUSTON – Southern Land Co. will break ground this fall on a $171 million, two-acre, mixed-use development in Upper Kirby. 

The company plans to build a 37-story, 330-unit apartment tower at 2811 Kirby Dr. The tower will also have 15,034 sf of retail-restaurant space. 

A 77,516-sf, four-story office building will be next to the apartment tower and sit atop a four-story parking garage. 

In all, the project will encompass 460,280 sf. 

Delivery of the project is expected for mid-2027.
