$300M McKinney amphitheater underway 

McKINNEY – Venu Holding Corporation has acquired 46 acres from the city’s EDC for a $300 million amphitheater. 

Plans for Sunset Amphitheater call for a 20,000-capacity venue with 300 luxury fire pit suites and 5,100 parking spaces. 

Construction is expected to begin this spring and finish in 2026.
