HOUSTON – Houston will invest $46.2 million to improve drainage systems, prioritizing four neighborhoods: Ramblewood, Frenchtown, Turkey Gully, and Melrose Park.

Ramblewood will get updated storm sewers and a 24-acre detention pond at Cambridge Village Park.

Frenchtown’s upgrades include regraded ditches, improved culverts, and sidewalk replacements.

Turkey Gully will receive a storm trunk system, roadway reconstruction, and drainage improvements.

Melrose Park’s project will upgrade ditches, replace driveway culverts, and upgrade pavement.

Construction will begin in summer 2025.
