​CYPRESS – Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. has broken ground on Village Green at Bridgeland Central, a mixed-use project within the 11,500-acre Bridgeland master-planned community.

Although the development is slated to span 70 acres, the first phase will be on 23 acres.

Village Green will be anchored by an H-E-B grocery store with more than 100,000 sf. It’s scheduled to open by the end of 2024.

Additionally, the mixed-u​se project will have more than 28,000 sf of retail and restaurant space slated to be complete in spring 2025.

The development will also have a 49,000-sf, three-story office building called One Bridgeland Green.​​
