FORT WORTH – The city will invest $50 million to revitalize Heritage and Paddock Parks.

Heritage Park Plaza, which has been closed since 2007, will be reconstructed, and Paddock Park will undergo upgrades, including a waterfall, shallow pool, and expanded square footage.

Plans feature a new viewing balcony with skyline vistas, a canopy walk, riverfront stairs doubling as an amphitheater, and improved pathways for pedestrians and cyclists.

The project, which is expected to break ground in 2026, will also enhance landscaping, lighting, and ADA-accessible connections around the courthouse.
