Historic San Antonio office tower slated for residential conversion 

SAN ANTONIO – An office-to-residential conversion of The Tower Life building at 310 S. St. Mary’s St. is set to begin this September. 

The conversion is being led by local developer Ed Cross, Alamo Capital Advisors, McCombs Enterprises, and J. Jeffers & Co. 

Historic elements will be preserved in the common areas and future apartments during the conversion. 

Additional doors and windows will be installed throughout the building. 

The redevelopment is expected to take 20 months.
