San Angelo’s Shannon Medical Center gets 140,000-sf expansion 

SAN ANGELO – Hoar Construction has completed a 140,000-sf, seven-story expansion of the 1.5 million-sf Shannon Medical Center. 

The new building has three levels of parking and four levels of patient care facilities, including a 19,310-sf intensive care unit on the third floor. The fourth floor has patient rooms, and the fifth and sixth floors contain shell space for future use. 

Construction began in February 2022.
