San Antonio airport flying high with another record month
SAN ANTONIO – Nearly 889,000 passengers passed through San Antonio International Airport in November 2018, setting a new record for the month.
The tally is up 78,000 passengers over the same month a year ago.
San Antonio International has now hit new high marks in 29 consecutive months, with the year-to-date passenger count up 11 percent over 2018 and eclipsing 900,000 ticketholders.
Officials said earlier this year there was a chance the airport could hit ten million annual passengers in 2018.
The year-to-date passenger total now stands at 9.2 million—an all-time record for the city, and more than 100,000 passengers more than in all of 2017.
The domestic passenger count was up 10 percent in November, and the international passenger total was up 9 percent.
