SAN ANTONIO – The city is undertaking a series of improvements as part of phase two of Classen-Steubing Ranch Park’s master plan.

The project add shading to the playground, ADA-accessible walkways to ball fields, soccer backstops, two shade canopies, and interpretive signage.

Plans also call for multipurpose play courts, a two-stall restroom, storage shed, two 20-space parking lots, a 30-space parking lot, and a 60-to-70-space parking lot.

The $5 million project will be funded by the 2022 General Obligation Bond.

Construction is expected to begin in spring and be completed by summer 2026.
