WEST TEXAS – The Texas Space Commission approved $21.5 million in grants to advance space exploration and spaceflight research.  

The Borderplex Alliance received $19.8 million to establish a Space Innovation Hub with a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and advanced telecom infrastructure.  

El Paso County was awarded $800,000 to develop the West Texas Aerospace Corridor Master Plan. 

The Concho Valley Council of Governments and South Plains Association of Governments will each receive $500,000 for feasibility studies on launch and recovery sites.
