TWDB allocates $52M for water system improvement projects across Texas
AUSTIN – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) will provide $52.8 million for water system improvements and loss projects.
Ten major projects will receive $34.8 million, including $13.7 million for Matador to upgrade transmission lines and storage, $4.6 million for Mooreville to replace water lines and install pumps, and $4.3 million for Groveton to build water well and assess system hydraulics.
Other recipients include Chappell Hill ($4.1 million), Nueces County ($9.3 million), Spur ($3.8 million), and Richland Springs ($3.8 million) for water line replacements and infrastructure upgrades.
D Bar B Water and Wastewater Supply Corporation will receive $92,820 for an emergency generator.
