Two communities open near San Antonio military bases

SCHERTZ, CONVERSE - Employees at two San Antonio military installations have some new living options when searching for their next home. Miami-based Lennar Corp. has opened two new communities — Willow Grove and The Parc at Escondido — in the Northeast San Antonio corridor.

Willow Grove, located in Schertz, will feature homes in the 2,054- to 3,003-sf range and priced in the $225,900 and $270,900 range. The subdivision is just a few minutes from Randolph Air Force Base, according to Tony Cerna III, director of sales for Lennar San Antonio.

The Parc at Escondido, located in Converse, will feature homes in the 1,291- to 2,665-sf range and priced in the $144,400 to $184,400 range.

The subdivision will be in proximity to both Randolph and Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. The two military installations are located seven miles and 11 miles, respectively, from The Parc.
