UT Health East Texas breaks ground on $12M facility in Tyler

TYLER – UT Health East Texas has broken ground on a two-story, 20,000-sf facility on Old Jacksonville’s Highway.

The $12 million orthopedics and sports medicine services facility will also house urgent care, a diagnostic and imaging facility, and outpatient rehabilitation.

The first floor will have ext​​ending-hours urgent care, imaging center, and outpatient physical therapy. The urgent care will have an orthopedic emphasis and will provide walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries.​

The second floor will be dedicated to UT Health’s growing orthopedics and sports medicine specialties.

Completion is anticipated for mid to late 2024.​
