Victoria to invest $45M for Community Center and Fairgrounds Master Plan 

VICTORIA – The City of Victoria will invest $45.4 million in the Community Center and Fairgrounds Master Plan, renovating the community center, expanding recreational opportunities, and upgrading site infrastructure.  

Plans include an 85,000-sf covered event arena with a 130-by-280-ft space and 3,000 fixed seats, expandable to 4,000 for concerts.  

The center will receive modern upgrades such as climate control, Wi-Fi, and expanded lobby space. The existing arena will be converted into an expo hall. 

Additional improvements include a multi-use barn, 2,775 parking spaces, a new baseball field, and a future basketball complex. 

Construction is expected to begin in 2026 or 2027.
