On Dec. 9, 2017 the National Vietnam War Museum will break ground on construction of the first phase of its museum.

It is located at 12685 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford, 76088, about a mile east of the Mineral Wells city limits on US Highway 180 in far western Parker County.

National Vietnam War Museum, for nearly 20 years, has been raising monies to make their dream and vision a reality.

The first phase will consist of a two-story museum structure totaling 18,000 sf to house the first three galleries.

For about $1 million each, the other three phases could be added over time.
