HICKORY CREEK – An event and wedding venue will undergo $40 million in renovations and expansions that will add new amenities and lodging.

Formerly a residential estate known as Champ d’Or, The Olana will become a hotel and spa. Located at 1851 Turbeville Rd., the 40-acre property will add retail, villas, and a pool building. Construction began Sept. 1 and will finish in fall 2025.

The property was purchased by St. Louis-based Twain Financial Partners, who will use a federal historic rehabilitation tax credit to aid in funding the project. The designer is Duncan & Miller Design.

It will be operated by Walters Wedding Estates.
